Before she was first lady,
Michelle Obama was like
a lot of women,
juggling(両立する) a full-time job
with the demands of motherhood.
You got home so tired and hungry.
You just wanted to get through
the drive-through
because it was quick
and it was cheap.
Then she says,
she got a wake-up call
from the girls' pediatrician.
"You might want to think about
doing things a little bit differently."
She did.
And today, the White House
launch(乗り出す)ed a nation(全国的な)-wide initiative(取り組み)
to help other families do the same.
From rearranging the school day
to make time for PE classes
to setting aside 25 million dollars,

to get school cafeterias
to ditch(厄介払いする) their deepfryers
and buy equipment for healthier cooking.
